Our Head Chef, Ted Lee, has curated an unforgettable Chinese New Year 2025 menu that includes classic dishes and symbolic favourites to celebrate the occasion. Begin your meal with the traditional Yusheng Prosperity Salad, a symbol of good fortune made with fresh salmon, shredded vegetables, noodles, and an array of flavourful condiments. Tossing them all up sets the tone for a prosperous year ahead!

Enjoy a feast that highlights the best of Tasmanian flavours, including Marion Bay crispy half chicken and Trio Mushroom Spring Rolls. Each course is designed to capture the spirit of Chinese New Year while showcasing Mr. Good Guy’s Southeast Asian-inspired flair.

Extend the Festivities for Chinese New Year 2025
On the weekend Sunday 2 February, continue the celebration with free community events hosted by the Chinese Community Association of Tasmania at Parliament House Lawns. Enjoy family-friendly activities, a vibrant lion dance, and a traditional firecracker lighting ceremony, cultural displays, and non stop entertainment starting from 10am.
**Credit card details required to secure a booking. Cancellations made before 48 hours would be processed without a penalty. However, any cancellations made less than 48 hours are subject to a charge of 50% of the total value and if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours are subject to 100% charge. Menu subject to change.
*Yusheng: a type of salad that is traditionally prepared with strips of raw fish, mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. The classic dish is also commonly known as the “prosperity salad” since it is believed to bring in good fortune and wealth to those who toss it up. Our specially curated Yee Sang Platter will come with fresh salmon, vegetables, noodles and condiments.
