Calling all jazz lovers and foodies! The Devonport Jazz Festival returns to Mr. Good Guy on 25 July 2025 for a soulful celebration of smooth tunes and bold Asian flavours. Afternoon Session: Asian Afternoon Tea with The Opportunists

Ease into the afternoon with the smooth sounds of Kurt Smith and Peter Jones, performing as The Opportunists. Sip and snack on our Asian-inspired afternoon tea featuring a selection of hot and cold grazing plates.

Jazz vocalist Sophie Leslie—trained under Vince Jones—and renowned Indonesian pianist Ade Ishs create a magnetic blend of tradition and modern jazz magic.

Together, Sophie and ade deliver a captivating fusion of vocals and instrumental brilliance, offering a unique blend of artistry and cultural flair.

  🎸 Wendy Moles & Nick Hart

With Wendy’s rich vocals and Nick’s masterful guitar, this duo brings jazz to life—from roaring 1920s classics to fresh originals packed with style and heart.

Wendy Moles & Nick Hart are an entertaining duo six years strong, performing at festivals and unique venues with style and heart. Wendy’s mahogany voice and Nick’s masterful guitar celebrate jazz in all its glorious varieties — from 1920s classics to fresh, spice-laced originals. They live to swing and love to prove that jazz, like cuisine, is bursting with flavours, styles, and soul.
