Winter in Tassie calls for a seriously hot wok.
As part of the Off Season, Mr. Good Guy Devonport is turning up the flames with our new Winter Wok dinner special, bringing Devonport diners a rotating weekly feature that’s smoky, steamy… and a little bit spicy.
From fragrant Phad Kra Pao Moo and comforting Lad Na, to wok-flamed Bò Lúc Lắc and fiery Mie Aceh, each dish delivers bold Southeast Asian heat designed to warm you from the inside out.

Four Woks. Zero Boring Dinners.
Each week across the Off Season (1 May to 31 August) chef Momo and his team will rotate through four sizzling wok creations:
Phad Kra Pao Moo (Thailand) $25
Wok-tossed tender pork with Thai holy basil, garlic and chilli, finished in a fragrant oyster-soy glaze that hits fast and lingers.
Lad Na (Thailand) $29
Silky wide rice noodles layered with tender meat and Chinese broccoli, all wrapped in a rich, savoury gravy. Comforting and elevated. (Vegetarian option available.)
Bò Lúc Lắc (Vietnam) $40
Translated as “Shaking Beef”, this dish consists of wok-flamed beef cubes tossed with garlic and cracked pepper, finished with fresh herbs and a delicate lime dipping sauce for that perfect balance of punch and brightness.
Mie Aceh (Indonesia) $32
Spicy Acehnese noodles tossed with prawns and slow-cooked beef, infused with aromatic spices, lifted with fresh lime and crispy shallots. (Vegetarian option available.)
Each dish is built around local winter produce and fired up with Mr. Good Guy’s signature Southeast Asian attitude. We’re talking big flavours that warm you from the inside out.
